Join this Outstanding Educational Event

Join Patrick Hoban of Great Lakes Seminars for the Aug. 12th-18th, 2025 in our wonderful San Ignacio, Belize for the Belize Physical & Occupational Therapy Workshop. This workshop focuses on Advanced Dynamic Anatomy, providing 15hrs of Continuing Education Credits. 
This event is open to international Physical and Occupational Therapists as well as local clinicians with an interest in the topic. 

Community Medicine Outreach Clinics

More than a CME event, participants spend two afternoons working in community medicine outreach clinics with community members who lack access to physical therapy. Access-Belize organizes clinics throughout the year that connect children and adults in need with visiting clinicians and faculty. You may further elect to continue consultation with patients through ou tele-therapy network, another pro-bono service by Access-Belize. 

Being in Belize is THE Adventure 

You'll be in the eco-tourism capital of Belize with Maya Archeological sites, Jungles, Rivers. Cultural literacy and immersion are integrated into all of our travel events. We build several Cultural and Ecological excursions into your itinerary, and give you a full day to choose your own Adventure with some optional ethno-botanical, mountain, jungle, river and cave excursions.

Included in your conference is a curated visit to the Award-Winning San Antonio Women's Cooperative. There you will engage with their staff learning about Traditional Yucatec Maya Healing and engage in other hands-on cultural practices.

Question: What’s included for guests and how does that work?


Answer: Guests get all the above, except the conference participation and CE credits. It’s like a mini-vacation for them and you get to do all the excursions together. 


Question: Should I bring my kids and how much would that cost?


Answer: Absolutely! Belize and the hotels are super family-friendly. We will work with you on a special accommodation and rate for your family. Just email Justin Ford [email protected] 


Question: On which day should I fly into and out of Belize? 


Answer: Arrival should be July 27th. Departure will be on August 2nd. Unless you join us for the San Pedro Beach 3-night add-on or our yoga retreat! Then your departure will be on August 5th. 


Question: Which airport do I fly into? 


Answer: the airport you fly into is Philip Goldson International Airport (BZE).


Question: Is airport transportation provided? 


Answer: Yes, we provide your inbound transportation for those arriving between 8:30am and 4:00pm. Outside of this window we can help you arrange a private shuttle for up to 8 passengers for $175USD. 


We also provide your outbound airport transportation. Recommended departure time is 11:00am-4:00pm. Later departures may result in longer wait times at the airport.
