The Intersection of Integrative Medicine and Traditional Healing
Join Dr. Paul Anderson and local experts July 27th-Aug. 2nd, 2025 in beautiful San Ignacio, Belize for the Belize Integrative Medicine Conference (BIMC)! The focus of BIMC CE will be on neurodiversity and the intersection of traditional healing modalities with modern naturopathic interventions.
You'll earn a minimum of 15hrs of Continuing Education Credits through curated CEU content, combining Dr. Anderson’s content complimented with content from local traditional medicine practitioners. Our aim is to facilitate rich exchange and cross-cultural learning between international guests, local guests and our presenters. All while experiencing the culture and beauty of Belize's nature and tapestry of cultures.

Traditional, naturopathic, and allopathic medical professionals from North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean will present and engage with participants on wellness topics from their diverse perspectives. Public health professionals will discuss their challenges and approaches. The conference partnership with the Belize and Regional Ministries of Health ensures that this event and CEU training reaches health professionals throughout the region.

An Immersive Continuing Education Event
It all happens at the award-winning San Ignacio Resort Hotel in the heart of the Maya Mountains in Western Belize. There you will learn about traditional Yucatec Maya healing and engage in hands-on cultural practices. You'll also have lunch at the Coop, enjoying traditional Maya dishes made with expert love and care with local ingredients; truly a fantastic culinary experience. Your visit supports the Cooperative, which in-turn helps highlight and preserve indigenous culture.
Experience El Mundo Maya
No trip to Belize is complete without visiting one of Belize's world-class archeological sites. On the first morning of your conference, we take a moment of serenity and respect with an enchanting guided tour of Cahal Pech Archeological site; just minutes from your hotel. Your guides will unravel Classical Maya history as you walk among the monumental structures set among rainforest; teeming with wildlife. This is a great way to connect to this enchanting place and gain knowledge of local culture and history; priming yourself for continued cultural immersion.

After the conference, join us for an optional 3-night add-on trip to complete your Belize experience!Option 1 (Beach Add-On Option): Travel to San Pedro, Belize's best beach town on the Cayes, where you'll experience the largest Barrier Reef in the Americas with absolute world-class diving, snorkeling, and tranquil Caribbean waters.

CME Frequently Asked Questions
Credits are applied to through AANP (American Association of Naturopathic Physicians) which accredits CME for Naturopathic Physicians in North America. CME numbers (total and pharmacology) will be updated on the website once awarded.
Additionally, each attendee will be given a CME outline and breakdown which can be used to apply for local licensure CME.
